can't get the dvd to play

I downloaded imgburn this mornig and thing very first dvd I burned worked perfectly, no probs at all. But not even 15 min later I tried to burn another one and once it said the process was complete I tried to play it and the dvd player says disc error. I have read all through the help topics and done everything I can think of.. I am very new at this and don't speak one single bit of computer language so that slows me down ALOT. But I just can't get it to burn another dvd. I even uninstalled the software and reinstalled it. can someone please please help me figure out what I am doing wrong??

A log would be nice.

As Cynthia said, post a log.

 

Disc errors are usually associated with your transcoding program or the fact that you have cheap/bad media. The log will give us a starting point.
