Dual Layer problems

I keep getting this weird message that there's an issue on burning DL discs (Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden). The issue only happens when I hit the second layer. The first layer burns correctly and both types of disc can burn and close a complete 4.45 before hitting the error.

Some kind of ITF issue that's only just recently started to pop up; in the last three weeks or so.

Any ideas as to what's going on?
