Cyberslammer
I decrypted and copied the entire audio and video_ts folders for a movie onto my PC. I used imgburn and followed the instructions exactly to burn the dual-layer image onto the DVD, to include the layer break portion. I burned at 2.4x so I wouldn't have issue. The DVD plays fine in my computer using Windows Media Center/Windows Media Player, but my Philips DVP5990 player won't play the movie, all it does is say "Loading"....it supports all the DVD formats including + and - R, so it shouldn't have a problem playing it. I tested the DVD on my Insignia player in the living room and it worked just fine. Any ideas, the DVD+R's I am using are Memorex DVD+R 8x/8.5GB/240 Min. I don't have this issue when I shrink the DVD to fit on a single-layer DVD and play it in the Philips player, just want to get this dual-layer thing right and not make a bunch of pricey coasters. Cyberslammer
LOL I answered my own question, I didn't wait long enough for the "Loading" to stop, once that quit the DVD started playing...just takes awhile on this player...I'll check for a firmware update to see if it makes it any quicker though.
