Lingüista Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 (edited) Hello, I've just registered because I've corrected the whole Spanish translation file (which was pretty awful) and I want to share it. I think the work I've done is very important, and I would like to know how can I send the corrected file to developers or what serious place I can upload it (maybe this forums are serious enough...). I really want my file to be considered as official, because I'm a linguist and I guarantee a perfect translation, at least in orthography, grammar and vocabulary. Regards. File attached. Cynthia Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Upload it here or send it to the mail address you can find in the about box in ImgBurn. It's the "traditional" version you updated?
Lingüista Posted August 15, 2010 Author Posted August 15, 2010 (edited) Thank you for the info, I'll do that. No, I corrected the international version (I think). Anyway, traditional and international are, or should be, the same in practical terms. Regards. Edited August 15, 2010 by Lingüista
sas2000 Posted August 16, 2010 Posted August 16, 2010 (edited) Anyway, traditional and international are, or should be, the same in practical terms. Regards. Thanks for your translation, but traditional and international are, or should be, quite different. Edited August 16, 2010 by sas2000
Lingüista Posted September 2, 2010 Author Posted September 2, 2010 (edited) I did more corrections and added missing lines. Regards. Edited September 2, 2010 by Lingüista
Lingüista Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) I'm glad. I can also update the traditional version; if you want, just tell me. Regards. Edited September 3, 2010 by Lingüista
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 29, 2010 Posted September 29, 2010 If you're comfortable with the differences between the two, please be my guest! The traditional one is still on v1.0.0.5 at the moment so anything is better than nothing!

Lingüista Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 OK, I've updated and corrected the traditional version and improved the international. But there's a problem! Before and after the update and correction of the traditional version, when I enter to Settings it gives me an error, and I don't know what's the matter. I thought it would be fixed when I had updated it... Can you fix that? Anyway I upload both files. Just tell me if you need more linguistical work to do. spanish_international.lng spanish_traditional.lng Regards.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 --------------------------- ImgBurn --------------------------- I have detected a problem with the translation you're currently using! Translation: Spanish (Spain, Traditional Sort) Form Name: frmSettings Control Name: GENERAL_ShutdownAction 1. The ComboBox's 'Items' list should have 7 entries but it only has 6. So basically, this translation needs updating/fixing! --------------------------- OK --------------------------- If you take a look at what it says, you should be able to work out what needs correcting. When you're in the dklang program, search for 'GENERAL_ShutdownAction' (it comes under the purple bar with 'frmSettings' written in it) - something is wrong with it. In this case it's the 'GENERAL_ShutdownAction.Items' bit. There are 7 entries in the English one (seperated by '\n') and only 6 in your translation. Lingüista Posted October 20, 2010 Author Posted October 20, 2010 (edited) Oh, sorry, I couldn't figure out what the message meant. It's all OK now. Thanks for the help. As I said, that missing line and so the error was already in the Samuel Yela de Cabo's file. No one realized or cared all this time? Anyway, I am uploading right now the ultimate version for the traditional Spanish translation. spanish_traditional.lng Regards. Edited October 20, 2010 by Lingüista
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 If possible, please try and keep the uploads to a single post. i.e. the top one or the last one (if you remember to remove the previous uploads as you go) Otherwise it gets a bit confusing Thanks for updating the translation, I'll get it up on the website asap.
