The program was working fine, and then it developed the following problem: after commencing the "read" function, it analyzes the tracks from the CD, and then stops. This behavior is repeatable with every CD I have attempted to burn.

What does it actually say in the status bar?

I'm not sure what is meant by "status bar." In the "ImgBurn Log" it gets as far as "file splitting: auto" and then stalls. At the bottom of the upper box (is this the status bar?) it says "analysing tracks... (Session 1, track 12)" - I believe that there are a total of 12 tracks on the disk. The "time elapsed" field continues to update. It is presently over 7 minutes, but nothing is happening.

I should add that I tried yet another CD, and this time it worked properly. Do you think this is a problem with defective source CD(s)?
