Chrono Posted August 20, 2010 Posted August 20, 2010 I just downloaded imgburn 2.5.1 today to burn some backup gamecube files to mini memorex dvd-r s. The burn process went through fine with no errors, and the verfication was also completed. But when the verification completes and the pop up menu displays "burn complete" or "success" or whatever, my computer becomes completely unresponsive. This happened two times in row. The burnt discs play perfect so far. What could be going on here? system info: os- win7 64 bit asus g73jh with matshita bd-cmd uj141as
Chrono Posted August 20, 2010 Author Posted August 20, 2010 The same thing happened again. Except I did a reinstall and unchecked verify this time. Still completed burn, displayed "Burn Completed Successfully" and then froze when i hit okay.
Cynthia Posted August 21, 2010 Posted August 21, 2010 Latest mother board drivers installed? http://www.ma-config.com/
Chrono Posted August 21, 2010 Author Posted August 21, 2010 I don't believe there have been any driver updates for that. I did just flash the newest stable BIOS, so I'll try again and see if that helped.
Chrono Posted August 22, 2010 Author Posted August 22, 2010 Yeah that didn't do anything. I tried using Nero to burn similar stuff, and it froze as well, so I think it's my laptop's dvd burner at fault here.
Cynthia Posted August 22, 2010 Posted August 22, 2010 Believing?. Did that page find any later drives? You need to press the "find drivers" after the first search is done.
Chrono Posted August 23, 2010 Author Posted August 23, 2010 It found a new video card driver and some network adapter things. I installed all of them, tried another burn, and it froze my computer. Except this time after a power calibration error.
