Yous Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Well I did a scan to see if my drivers worked and were updated and it said I was fine. Then I checked if my computer is the correct specs to burn these disks I am using a memorex DVD+R DL 8.5GB risk x8. After about 3 seconds i get the error and I am very confused. Before the burn: About 3 seconds later... The log for it: I 21:48:37 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! LOCOENG Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Update your firmware ~ http://www.firmwarehq.com/NEC/ND-3570A/files.html and try again. If you get more failures it may be time for a new drive, 3 years in eons in PC years. Old drives + New Discs = Coasters
Yous Posted August 26, 2010 Author Posted August 26, 2010 I did what you said and downloaded an update then I get this error
LIGHTNING UK! Posted August 26, 2010 Posted August 26, 2010 Yours is a Dell (or from a Dell) machine, correct? If so, you'll probably need to use binflash (Get the 'Win32 GUI' version) to get the 1.12 firmware on that drive... and I don't know if it'll still work properly after that. Still, it's no good to you right now anyway is it If you need the raw 'bin' file for use in binflash, go here: http://liggydee.cdfreaks.com/page/en/NEC-ND-3570A/ Failing that, buy yourself a new drive.
Yous Posted August 26, 2010 Author Posted August 26, 2010 I do not need a new driver but I will try what you said to do.
