Newb to burning 360 games

Like i said im new to it, im using verbatim dvd+r DL and i have a Dell computer with Optiarc dvd drive to burn. I dl the games i want and browse for the .dvd file and select the .dvd file and begin burning and when its done and i try it all i get is the XBOX 360 symbol as if the game were starting up. I went to change the book type which for Optiarc is NEC and it tells me when i select "Drive for (DVD+R DL Media)" and it tells me "Unknown Failed! Reason: Invalid Command Operation Code".

 

SO if yall can help me would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time!

well i followed everything you asked me to do, i browsed for the .dvd file and burned it onto a verbatim dvd+r DL and i insert it into my 360 and all i get is the xbox 360 white logo at the beginning, what am i doing wrong?
