Arby Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Hi, I've got a bit of a problem. I've made an image file with DVD decryptor, and it is 7.9GB or so in size, so it couldn't be burnt to a disk. I re-ripped it, instructing DVD decryptor to split the image every 4 GB, which it did. I now have two main data files - one at 4,193MB and one at 3,574MB, and a .mds. The problem is, no matter what program I use (including ImgBurn), it reads the .mds and treats the two smaller files as one 7.9GB file, which obviously I cannot burn onto a 4.7GB DVD. Any idea how I can make ImgBurn read and burn the two images as two seperate files? Thanks .
Kenadjian Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 Ok, you'll either need to "shrink" the image so it fits on one disc, (you can use DVD SHRINK for this) it's free. Or, you can use a number of apps to split the image into 2 maintaining the video stracture for each disc, DVD SHRINK can also do this so can VOBBLANKER, just to mention 2.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted June 18, 2006 Posted June 18, 2006 You can't. When it doesn't fit, you have to shrink it. Can't help you any more than that I'm afraid, that's not what this forum is for. Google is your friend.
