Chainz Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 So I was trying to burn a 360 .dvd file with IMG Burn. Have all the stuff needed, Dual Layer 8.5 GB DVD's, with a dual layer burner, the whole shebang. Well, about 12% into the burning it pops up an error message and stops the burn. Not only did it not FULLY burn to the DVD, now I can't use that DVD for anything but a paperweight because there's stuff written to it, but the full game isn't on there so it won't work. So how do I get this thing where it will fully finish the burn? I've already tried it twice and the same thing both times, so I'm out two dvd's now, won't try this again until I am POSITIVE it's going to work. I'll post the error log if someone can tell me how to get to it. Thanks.

Chainz Posted September 3, 2010 Author Posted September 3, 2010 So it's the discs I have that's causing it to stop like that?
Cynthia Posted September 3, 2010 Posted September 3, 2010 I would do this. Also try 4x as the write speed. If that also fails - get some Verbatims. If those also fails, get a new external burner. SlimLine drivers are not so good burners as the full height ones.
Chainz Posted September 4, 2010 Author Posted September 4, 2010 Okay, Thank you, Cynthia. I will try that.
