skynet
Hi For years now I have been starting imgburn by clicking the windows vista start button and typing img into the white search box. Windows displays imgburn.exe in the files list and hitting enter starts the program. This doesn't seem to work any more in the 2.5.2 version or have I done something wrong..? LIGHTNING UK!
This is a windows feature and not anything to do with ImgBurn. Does it look different when you try 'img' in now? Perhaps you get more than 1 result, no results or something similar and that's why pressing enter isn't enough.

Here is a screenshot of my problem with the latest imgburn 2.5.2 Here is a screenshot with imgburn 2.5.1 installed
LIGHTNING UK!
Do you actually have a shortcut to ImgBurn on your start menu anywhere? (with 2.5.2.0) If not, that would explain why it can't find it.
skynet
The option 'install icons and shortcuts' during the install was ticked when installing both versions. A shortcut only points to the program.exe and not the version doesn't it?
LIGHTNING UK!
Yes but do you actually see the shortcuts if you click on the 'All Programs' option? There should be an 'ImgBurn' entry in the section of programs at the top and an 'ImgBurn' folder a bit lower down. i.e. maybe you installed as one user and are now using a different account - unfortunatly there's an issue with the installer and the icons always get made for the 'current' user and never 'all' users.
