memphis122006 Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 Ok so i have just gotten a Sony vaio (vpcec2s0e)laptop yesterday The drive is an DCF ZW5INSP SCSI CdRom Device Optiarc BD ROM BC - 5500H (there is only one dvd drive i can see but lists these two) I have tried searching for updated firmware but no luck. I use VERBATIM DVD-R 16x disks to burn my films and have never had problems beofre burning at 6x speeds on my previouse laptops and pcs. I tried watching films after burn at 6x and on my xbox it was choppy later on in film and kept stuttering. I tried few more burns and still did same. I tried 8x speed and it worked fine. My cousin lent film and it is choppy on his dvd player and normaly disks play fine. This was disk burned at 6x speed. I use imgburn and always have done. Sorry if all this is confusing. Anyone any ideas why my burns are suddenly choppy? this was £1200 laptop and am wondering if its sonys disk drive? Thanks very much in advance for anyone who can help me.
Cynthia Posted September 5, 2010 Posted September 5, 2010 The question is how many cents of those dollars the burner represent. Did you verify the burn?
memphis122006 Posted September 5, 2010 Author Posted September 5, 2010 I wasnt trying to brag about the cost as i didnt pay it. Pc world gave me it because the laptop i had from them kept dying. Good will jesture. Anyway cheers for reply. No mate i never do verify except 360 burns. Ive never had to do verify before.....
