i've been burning with ImgBurn for years and i have not had an issue until recently. the burning process goes through perfectly, the disc comes out with physical indications that it has data written onto it and all is well in the world.

but as soon as i insert that DVD into any drive, i get nothing. i can put the disc back in my drive and it reads it as blank, but that disc is a goner.

i've looked at all the FAQs, as many threads related to the topic created in the last month (thank you Google!) and have attempted updating drivers. i'm really hoping you guys can give me some tips.

Burn at 4x or 6x and enable the Verify option. Also put the Write Type back to the default DAO value if you don't have a specific reason for using Incremental.

ok will try, thanks.

and the Incremental option was a tip that i read about from another forum board. it seemed to do the trick for two others, but didn't change a damn thing for me.
