Fazuul
First off I'd like to say that ImgBurn is a great piece of software and it has been pretty much my only burning tool since I found it. It's stable and updates are released at a decent pace, which is great. I even found the GUI to be nice. At least until the 2.5.2.0 update. I wanted to reply to another topic that praised the GUI, but the forum wouldn't let me, so here's this new thread instead. Honestly, the new icons in the GUI, and for the program itself, are a tad on the ugly side. The new program icon lacks the clean lines of its predecessor and does not scale well. The same can be said for the UI elements which seem to have been dolled up to provide a little more flash. Obviously this is just my personal preference and would much rather see the old stylized graphics instead of the new "shiny" ones. Ideally, there would be an option to revert the UI to the previous look so those that do enjoy it can keep it. If there already is (installing 2.5.1.0 again doesn't count) and I missed it...my bad. LIGHTNING UK!
I guess you're still running XP then. No idea what you're talking about regarding UI elements, like I said in the other thread, all I did was swap out the coloured images on buttons. Nothing else has been changed. I can't please everyone.
Fazuul
Yeah, I know you can't please everyone. ;/ Like I said, it's my personal preference and was hoping there was a way to revert the look. Not that the look is a deal breaker, I'll definitely continue to use it. And yes, I'm still on XP. The new program icon did give me the impression that it belonged more in Vista/7, either way I doubt I'd still like it were I on those system. Also, I was talking about the colored images you swapped in, I was just being overly descriptive. Anyhow, I've said my piece.
