LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 Does your drive recognise any discs at all? i.e. original / pressed CD's (audio ones maybe) or an original / pressed DVD Video disc? When you first insert a disc, does that message in the status bar say something else for a while before settling back on medium not present? Can Explorer see the discs you've put in the drive? Why aren't you on SP3 for XP?
