urbancowboy Posted September 10, 2010 Posted September 10, 2010 I get this error every single time. I've burned 4 discs at this point and all 4 get the same error. Sometimes it will get to 50% and provide this error. I'm burning backups of my xbox 360 games. I'm using a Dell Studio laptop to do my burning and I have verbatim dual layer discs. Is my laptop just not capable of burning them? Do I need to get an external drive, and if so what kind? I've burned at 2.4x and 4x.

mmalves Posted September 11, 2010 Posted September 11, 2010 http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 If you're going to get an external burner then avoid the slimline burners, as they're as rubbish as your internal slimline one. Ideally it would be a normal size burner in an external enclosure, e.g. an Optiarc AD-7240S.
