I use verbatim media. LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 12, 2010 Share Posted September 12, 2010 Forget the USB one, it's obviously not playing nicely on your system as it keeps disconnecting itself. Try cleaning the freecom with a cleaning disc. There's a chance that it's a rebadged LiteOn drive so you could always crossflash it - and then perhaps use newer firmware on it. The drive will not accept a cleaning disc it just keeps the loading light on solid. BTW the usb is burning again after 1 hour of saying no. Very inconsistent.
