recommeded drive to backup xbox 360 games

hello all and thanks for your help my PIONEER DVR-216D has been layed to rest and of course you can't find them any where

I was wondering can any one recommend a plug and play like the PIONEER DVR-216D where i don't have to flash any thing etc.

i checked the drive section and purchased this drive New LG GH22NS50 Black SATA 22X DVD RW

but then notice the burn speeds. I appreciate your help i really don't have the money to keep buying drives that may or not work . if there is a firmware i can get to flash to this drive to use it for my purpose please let me know
