TMHKR Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 I have a question about ImgBurn's layer break detection system. You know, it's the screen with various colored "stars", where you choose the optimal layer break point when burning DVD9 (dual-layer) discs. So, how ImgBurns detects those optimal layer break points (yellow, blue and green stars)? Does it analyze the movie scenes (and looks for transitions) somehow, or it checks the SPLIP values? And, in the end, how it decides whether a break point is "Excellent" or "Good"? I hope you understand what I just wrote...
LIGHTNING UK! Posted September 24, 2010 Posted September 24, 2010 It looks at flags and general position of things within the file system/IFOs, it doesn't analyse the movie - that's your job! The 'Preview' button is there for a reason
