WadeS Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Can ImgBurn be used to create an ISO image file from files and folders on my hard drive? I followed the instructions in the guide, but instead of making an ISO file it made a .mds file, a .i00 file and a .i01 file.
Cynthia Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 You probably have your hard disk formatted as FAT32 and by doing that - it can't create a file bigger than 4 GB. So it's splitted into pieces. Convert the hard disk to the NTFS file system if you want a single file. Use the .mds file when you burn the project.
WadeS Posted September 29, 2010 Author Posted September 29, 2010 Thanks for the reply. I'm sure that's the problem.
