Help on creating a DVD image

Hello

 

While creating an image file from a music concert DVD, I'm being presented with three options to save the file: .bin, .img and .iso. I wonder which one of them should I choose, I want to send it to a friend through internet.

ISO is the default/normal one.

Thank you Lightning UK. I chose the .iso option but an error message ("as yoda said...") suggesting to pick the .bin one instead. I hope I did it right.

Ah, there's probably a better way then - if you're sure it was a DVD disc?

 

If you got that 'yoda' prompt it means the disc is multisession.

 

You should make a 'clean' (single session) image by adding the drive letter of your optical drive to the 'Source' box in Build mode and letting it build a new ISO from scratch.
