gabng Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Hey guys, I have been burning xbox360 backups a few months, and i have been using imgburn for a long time. Last night, when i was burning a xbox360 backup, i just freeze at Writing Leadin... part. I cannot close the program, so i had to reboot my laptop. After, that, i tried to use different type of media (brand), re-install imgburn. But nothing seems to work for me. I have the setting like I usually do, like the layer break, and i was burning at 2x speed. Imgburn having been working for me for a long time, this is the first time I'm having trouble with. I am using the same writer, computer, and media as I used to burn my other backups, and it was just fine to me. So guys, please help me out. LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 You know the 'brand' name doesn't mean anything yeah? The 'dye' the discs use is the important thing. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000
gabng Posted October 2, 2010 Author Posted October 2, 2010 You know the 'brand' name doesn't mean anything yeah? The 'dye' the discs use is the important thing. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Thankyou for answering, i looked up that link and i tried a few things. I tried to upgrade to a newer firmware, but there isn't one for my laptop. Then i tried to burn a cd and it worked perfectly fine. At last, i used clone cd to burn the backups again, but again it stuck at the writing leadin. Nothing seems to work for me, what can i do?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 2, 2010 Posted October 2, 2010 Just as the link says, get Verbatim discs (MKM-001-00 or MKM-003-00 dye) or buy a new drive (external 'normal' size).
