retsam Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 (edited) I downloaded a piece of software called DVD Flick. I put in a couple .avi files and it proceeded to convert them into proper DVD format. Once it got to the burning part, it went to 99% and gave me this error. I/O Error! Device: [0:0:0] LITE-ON DVDRW SOHW-1693S KS0B (F:) (ATA) ScsiStatus 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: 2A 00 00 1B F6 E0 00 00 20 00 Interpretation: Write (10) - Sectors: 1832672 - 1832703 Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0a 00 00 00 00 0c 00 00 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Write Error Any help? I looked online for driver updates to my dvdrw drive, but I have the latest ones. Edit: I downloaded Imgur and attempted to make a dvd following a guide posted on another section of the board. It went to 100% success with no faults, but the cd says it doesn't have anything written on it. Here's the log: I 23:50:55 ImgBurn Version 2.5.2.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 7, 2010 Posted October 7, 2010 Have you tried the other supported write speeds? Get yourself some Verbatim / Taiyo Yuden discs and try again. The drive might just have an issue with the 'SONY16D1' dye discs you're using now. Failing that and because your drive is getting on a bit now (latest firmware is 5 years old), invest in a new drive. Please also read the following thread as it's directly relevant to your issue. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=7860
