deepinthewoods Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 Ever since I update to the new version of ImagBurn (2.5.2.0), I have been unable to burn copies of Blu-ray discs. I am using Windows XP and my Blu-ray drive is an LG HL-DT-ST BD-RE, BHo8LS20 2.00 (ATA). After a few minutes of trying to burn (initial statement only states "transferring tracks"), I get the following message: I/O Error Device (1:0:0) HL-DT BD-RE Bho8LS20 2.00 (G:) (ATA) SCSI STASTUS: OX02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: AA 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 20 40 00 Interpretation: Write (12) - Sectors: 0-31 Sense Area: 70 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 D4 73 02 00 00 00 00 Interpretation: Power Calibration Area Is Full The following is a copy of my log, Please any help is appreciated: I 12:35:57 ImgBurn Version 2.5.2.0 started! LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 No version of ImgBurn is any more or less likely to cause your drive to error out during a burn. The burn is controlled by the firmware in the drive, not the software. Have you tried changing the write speed to one of the other supported speeds? You've already tried MAX which equals 6x for your drive/firmware/media combo. Have you got any other discs you can try? Some that don't use the 'TDKBLD-RFB-00' dye.

I did reduce speed to 4X and I also disable my Norton Antispyware temporarily. The combination of these two things enabled me to successfully copy my movies over to the TDK Blu-ray discs. Thanks for your suggestions. Much appreciated.
