Cofer Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I have been using ImgBurn for months with no problems. Today it prompted me to upgrade so I did. Now I'm unable to burn images to DVD. The upgrade process said that some setting were reset, but I am unaware of any setting that I had changed in the past. Going to revert back to the previous version and re-run the same steps. Cofer Posted October 8, 2010 Author Posted October 8, 2010 Older version does it as well. I guess I had some settings changed. Too bad it doesn't keep those. I have no idea what I would have changed.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted October 8, 2010 Posted October 8, 2010 I knew you'd say that... I was waiting for it. I doubt you changed anything. Unless your drive is messed up, there's nothing TO change. The drive and its firmware are in complete control of the burn and whether it succeeds or fails. Something about your drive/firmware/media combo just isn't right. Personlly I'd start by buying some decent discs - Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden - and then giving it another try. What make is your laptop?
