ianymaty
Oh, my bad, I give you the link to this thread instead of the link to firmware. Here it is the good one, you want DL13. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GSA-4167B/files.html Your version of ImgBurn is outdated. Look in my signature for the current version. You have to try with 2.4x rated media MKM-001-00 That's silly. I mean I've been using the same spindle for a while. I don't see how it can just flop over and die on me. There's got to be another explanation.
ianymaty
What speed they burned when they worked? Maybe a clean disc will help. Maybe it's time to replace it with a new one.

I'm sure it was 2.4. The usual. Discs are all clean. Pretty much brand new (Never take them out the spindle) I guess a new driver would be alright. ianymaty
A clean disc is a disc with a litle brush attached on it, that you put in the drive and follow the instructions. It cleans the lens of the drive. I never meant that you clean the discs from the spindle. I should have said lens cleaning disc. My bad.
