I've searched and seen people berated for posting about this problem, but it's given me a coaster already and I'd rather not get another. Last time this happened, the disk was at 73%, this time it's at 97%. Those are with two different images being burnt. I'm using Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x, burning at 2.4x. I'm running Windows 7, and my hard drive is 0% fragmented with over 100GB free. I'm using about half of my 4GB of RAM, and around 20% of my 2.8GHz CPU. I have no idea what's causing this, and if the answer is an obvious one that my searching hasn't turned up, feel free to be mean, but please link me to the solution. Thank ya kindly in advance. LIGHTNING UK!
Something else must be using the hdd at the same time. It could be indexing or some other background process like that. It could be you downloading stuff, virus scanning... basically just *anything* that reads from/writes to the hdd. Even if the buffer issue does crop up, it shouldn't result in a coaster. The program and drive will resume just fine as soon as the system hdd usage goes back to 'normal'. btw, update the firmware on your drive. http://www.firmwarehq.com/LG/GH22LS50/files.html Update ImgBurn too.
