Capture tool?

I am using Any Video Converter Professional to capture & convert various file formats. It works good only to capture You Tubes. It cannot capture other URLs when copied & pasted. Though its conversion is versatile.

 

Could you suggest a a better capturing software that can capture most if not all besides You tubes.

Check out TechSmith's Camtasia. It will record anything and everything you can get onto your screen.

If you're just interested in saving YouTube videos, I use save2PC Light, which is free. It saves them directly in a native format. And the paid version supposedly save the files in HD.

FireFox + Download Helper will do it too.

 

If you want a website to save youtube files you can use keepvid.com

 

There are probably websites out there that support the other places you can get vids from too... but as you haven't mentioned any names, it's hard to help.
