paulec1 Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 I've seen others post about a similar problem, but haven't found a fix that will work for my situation. When I try to write an image to a blank disc (TDK DVD-R), I get the message, "E 16:28:18 Failed to Reserve Track! - Reason: Cannot Write Medium - Incompatible Format." Same thing happens even in test mode. Any help would be appreciated. Here's the log... I 16:39:43 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! mmalves Posted October 22, 2010 Posted October 22, 2010 Your old burner doesn't support the blanks you're using. I 16:40:09 Destination Device: [2:0:0] _NEC DVD_RW ND-2500A 1.06 (D:) (ATA) Update your burner's firmware to the latest version and try again. While you're at it, update ImgBurn too.
