topolinik Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Under win98 Imgburn doesn't allow me to burn my CD images that i saved on a single DVD (my backup copies). It complains something like "i cannot share, change selected name" so i have to copy them on the hard disk before burning. I do not have this problem under winXP. Some ideas?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Hmmm interesting! I don't suppose anyone else has ever tried such a thing! I'll give it a go in a minute and fix any problems I come across.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 2, 2006 Posted July 2, 2006 Assuming you mean it says: '[File name]' This file exists with Read Only attributes Please use a different file name. I have now fixed this, cheers for reporting it. It actually effects every 'Open' dialog box so you'd have seen it everwhere that lets you open a file!
topolinik Posted July 6, 2006 Author Posted July 6, 2006 Thank you, your fixing was really fast!!! Yes, the message is almost the same (my windows talks italian), it seems that the application is opening a file to save something in. It happened to me only when using imgburn. Again, thanks topolinik
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 6, 2006 Posted July 6, 2006 Nah, it wasn't saving anything, I'd just used a flag in the 'open' dialog box routine that caused the box to not allow read only files. (probably a cut + paste error from a 'save' dialog box). If you drag + drop the ISO onto the 'Source' groupbox, it would load them ok.
