GrahamG
I've tried searching for "synchronising cache" in the support forums, but I get a ton of hits because it's in so many logs that folks post. I found one relevant post but the answer there seemed to be setting RAID controls, and I don't have RAID. I'm on an older XP box, with SP3 applied. Problem is: burn goes quickly, no errors, then I hit 0% Synchronising Cache and nothing happens for 40 minutes. So I abort, and still nothing happens, ImgBurn is still stuck on 0% Synchronising Cache. Here's the log: I 09:54:21 Operation Started! GrahamG
Thanks. I gave that a try, and also cleaned my drive. Hopefully that problem won't show again. And in the process I also found out that the Pioneer DVR-109 supports writing DL DVD. Never knew. That would be useful when making backups.
