Hopeful this will be enough to tell whats wrong. If not I guess I could try again. I'm using Verbatim DVD+R DL 2.4x. LITE-ON DVD/RW LH 20A1L is my drive. Tried burning at 2.4x speed. Posted November 7, 2010 Share Posted November 7, 2010 The log is a million times better than a screenshot, that's why we ask for the log (see the pink box up the top?) and not a screenshot It's also far easier to 'Select All', 'Copy' and 'Paste' the text than it is to screenshot the app, upload and insert a picture. LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 7, 2010 Share Posted November 7, 2010 Thanks Ok so was that your first and only failure? Normally what you'd do here is just try the same thing again. If that fails, try again at 4x. If that fails, clean the drive with a cleaning disc and try again (either 2.4x or 4x). If that fails, you can either get another spindle of discs to try (faulty batch?) or just go ahead and buy another drive. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lemon Jelly Posted November 7, 2010 Author Share Posted November 7, 2010 This was my 4th try the first try was at 2.4x the 2nd was 4x, both got to about 40% and gave me that error, the 3rd was on a different program that gave an error aswell, and the last try was on back on imgburn that gave me that error only after 4%. I guess I could try getting a cleaning disc. I really hope I didnt just spend $40 on bad discs I think I would rather try a new drive before I get different disc. Which one is recommended?
