theymademedoit Posted November 9, 2010 Posted November 9, 2010 (edited) Hi all, Just got my console flashed and I am trying to back up my 360 game. I am using Datawrite discs (I know what you are going to say) as the chap who flashed the console said thats what he used....and being as trusting as I am I bought the same discs he suggested. theymademedoit Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 Same if you burn at 4x? Read and follow this http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=8000 Hi, Yeah its just chucked up an I/O error on x4 and when I click cancel I have changed it to x2.4 and its starting to burn....not sure if it will work tho.
theymademedoit Posted November 9, 2010 Author Posted November 9, 2010 I just tried again and it got to 100% and I got a session fixation error writing lead in....any suggestions?
theymademedoit Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Hi, I was tired lat night and my posts were a tad vague...anyway here is the situation.... I had a go last night...several in fact and no luck. Basically I followed it step by step (I think) and tried burning at 2.4x....it hung for ages at setting L0 data zone capacity....then got a 'Failed to set L0 data zone capacity' error. Once I got this error I clicked cancel and with the same disc I tried 2x and it got to 71% and failed (log for this burn below). After this I tried at 4x and got the 'Failed to set L0 data zone capacity' again so again I tried clicking cncel and tried at 2.4x again and it got to 100% but failed to finalize the disc. My questions are....when it fails to set the LO data zone capacity....is the disc already screwed and is there anything I can try in the settings to get this to work?
ianymaty Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Give a try with Verbatim media. If that still not burn and verify OK, look for a replacement drive.
theymademedoit Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Hi, I ordered a Pioneer 115d today and should get it in the morning....would you say this will do the trick? Al
ianymaty Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 If you are going to use the same media (Disc ID: RICOHJPN-D01-67), I think you did a bad choice. On this forum there is a Drives section that you can consult before making a decision. Or you've should ask for a hint/recommendation. Look here for some tests with that drive on your media. http://forum.imgburn.com/index.php?showtopic=10900&st=0&p=98273&&do=findComment&comment=98273 Cynthia, probably could pop in and tell you more about it.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 10, 2010 Posted November 10, 2010 Where'd you find that, ebay? Is it new? (It's quite an old drive now)
theymademedoit Posted November 10, 2010 Author Posted November 10, 2010 Hi, I am not planning on using the same media. Basically the laptop burner was not suitable. I was told on by several people that the 115d was a good choice. I got it for £8 fully working! What media would you suggest for this drive? Al
theymademedoit Posted November 15, 2010 Author Posted November 15, 2010 115d recvd and no probs with the datawrites so far!
