Wii ISO Verify Fail

hi i am trying to burn a wii ISO but it fails on verifying. I have burned wii iso before and all ok. now nothing. firmware up to date and i am using verbtim dvd-r discs.

Seems like 4x is producing a bad burn. Try 8x instead.

 

You could try Taiyo Yuden discs instead of Verbatim (I find their DVD-R to be better).

 

Assuming it's a new drive drive and therefore couldn't possibly be dirty (unless something touched the lense?), maybe it's just developed a fault (or you have faulty discs).

hi yes it brand new. i tried at 8x it got a little further then failed again. i dont get why it was working then just started creating all these coasters

Nope. What you're burning is irrelevant, the drive doesn't know or care about it - data is data.

I have solved my burning issue! This may sound very strange but i changed media from Verbatim to................. ASDA's own DVD-r and it will now burn wii iso after wii iso
