LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 Seems like 4x is producing a bad burn. Try 8x instead. You could try Taiyo Yuden discs instead of Verbatim (I find their DVD-R to be better). Assuming it's a new drive drive and therefore couldn't possibly be dirty (unless something touched the lense?), maybe it's just developed a fault (or you have faulty discs).
pinekone666 Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 hi yes it brand new. i tried at 8x it got a little further then failed again. i dont get why it was working then just started creating all these coasters
pinekone666 Posted November 16, 2010 Author Posted November 16, 2010 is there a setting that needs to be changed to burn wii iso's
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 17, 2010 Posted November 17, 2010 Nope. What you're burning is irrelevant, the drive doesn't know or care about it - data is data.
pinekone666 Posted November 18, 2010 Author Posted November 18, 2010 I have solved my burning issue! This may sound very strange but i changed media from Verbatim to................. ASDA's own DVD-r and it will now burn wii iso after wii iso
