Get Verbs Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Hello all, I got a problem I just cant solve.. U guys (and girls if they do burn) are my last hope. I cant post a log and yes I use Verbs! The problem is: my imgburn stops at writing leadin it just stays there the timers continue to count but it does nothing. Only thing i can do is reboot because i cannot open the drive. The weird thing is: I have burned like 10 copies allready, but the only way to do that is first burn a cd in mediaplayer and then imgburn works. If I reboot my pc, imgburn does the same thing all over again and I have to burn a cd in mediaplayer again... Help please:D

ianymaty Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 I wont go over 4x, thats impossible for me since xbox games cannot be burned higher then 4x Says who? That was ages ago, but is not the case now with modern drives that are well tuned to burn at high speeds. Go on, take your chance and try 8x. You are using 8x media after all.
Get Verbs Posted November 19, 2010 Author Posted November 19, 2010 (edited) I will try that, but isnt that bad for the xbox 360 drive? Thats what I heard Edited November 19, 2010 by Get Verbs
Cynthia Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 A reader can not see how fast a disc was burned. The only thing it wants is the best possible burn = the most easily read disc.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 19, 2010 Posted November 19, 2010 Try the drive in another PC with that same media. If it's ok, it's probably driver related. What motherboard/chipset do you have?

LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Get that latest drivers from AMD and install them. There's nothing we can do about your issue, you need to try some stuff yourself.
