Jonny11 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I seem to be having a problem opening a .img file with imgburn. Any time i attempt to open a pfsense file to burn it to a dvd imgburn throws an error saying, "Invalid or unsupported image file format!" I thought maybe it was a bad file/corrupted download at first so I tried 3 different versions from three different mirrors. Then I tried to run imgburn on another machine thinking it may have something to do with my x64 copy of win7. Still got the same errors. Could some one help? Attached is my log file of my attempts, however there's not much in it since imgburn never got past the file load. suggestions anyone? ImgBurn.log
mmalves Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 You should get the LiveCD .iso image, not the .img image for pendrive/HDD/etc.
