poripori Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Hi I just made me an account over here in hope to get rid of my problem: I tried to burn a Wii iso file to several dvds. I burnt it on a Dvd+r (forgot the brand) on a TDK Dvd-r And on the popular Verbatim Dvd-r. All attemps to try to run the game failed. There just came that error message in the wii. It said i have to remove the disc and shut off the pc. Of course i already have installed a modchip. I also tried to use different games/isos... Hope someone can help me Thanks in advice
ianymaty Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Read the pink box above. Post a log with burn and verify.

ianymaty Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 You missed the last part... If it verifyed OK than ImgBurn has done its job. I 19:11:20 Destination Media Type: DVD-R (Disc ID: MBI 01RG40) (Speeds: 3x; 4x; 6x; 8x) 3x is the slowest speed supported by your drive/firmware on that media. Try the other speeds too.
poripori Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 So its because of my dvd drive hmm? But how comes i cant even run the game when its burned at 3x speed? Maybe il have to try a other speed... But i thought the lower the speed , its better..
ianymaty Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 You have to try all speeds to find wich one produce the best burn. The burn at a specified speed might be good and verified OK in that drive, but other drives or consoles might not like it. Again, If it burned and verifyed succesfully, your problem is elsewhere.
poripori Posted November 21, 2010 Author Posted November 21, 2010 Hm maybe its because of my modchip.. Maybe not i dont know Im gonna test the other speeds tomorrow Thx for the help
