suki222 Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Hi. I just purchased and am new to the product. I put Wii games on my computer as iso files and then in ImgBurn wrote the files to the DVD read-write drive on a blank disk and Verified successfully. This was to back my kids' games up so the orignals wouldn't scratch. When I put the newly written and verified discs in the Wii system it said that the disc could not be read. I did this for four games so far. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks, Suki
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 You didn't purchase ImgBurn, it's free. Wii games are copy protected and we can't help you with that. If the disc burnt and verified ok, ImgBurn did its job. The rest is down to you I'm afraid.
suki222 Posted November 24, 2010 Author Posted November 24, 2010 I purchased CopyThatGame and that's what installed ImgBurn with them advertising it as a way of backing up Wii Games so you don't lose a game if the original gets scratched. That's frustrating that all they did with my $30 was give me free software. Well, thanks for your help.
spinningwheel Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Check with ClickBank, or whomever processed your purchase, about being ripped off. Make a complaint and they will credit back to your card.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 It might be an idea to do some research before you buy something that looks too good to be true... it usually is. The first hit on Google (.co.uk) when you search for 'copythatgame' is: CopyThatGame IS HUGE SCAM, READ!!!
