WC_Handy Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Hi, I was wondering if its possible (with some sort of script or whatever) to automatically start ripping a DVD when closing the tray. I got a huge load of DVD's (all of them previously shrinked to DVD-5 format) and i need them back to my mediaserver harddrive. I need to find a way to speed up this ripping process. Thanks in advance for any help.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 In the next release of ImgBurn, yes. There's a new 'Batch Mode' for 'Read' mode.

LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 Erm as it doesn't physically exist, no!
WC_Handy Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 okay, well next best thing would be a "hotkey" for the Start Rip button does that exist?
LIGHTNING UK! Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 You can access it via the File menu. So Alt+F, then whatever letter 'Read' has assigned to it at runtime. There's no direct hotkey/shortcut to it I'm afraid.
WC_Handy Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 okay i will check it out when im back from work so i can find a shortkey for 'Read' okay maybe it would be cool to have the Enter key in every menu for the start Ripping / Burning process right now i got Imgburn set to automatically go to read mode when inserting a DVD destination folder is pre-set label is already on the ISO when ripping is ready, imgburn will open the tray so basically i only need a key to start the actual ripping then flip in / out the dvd's in the tray alright, i will check it out thanks
