lfcrule1972 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I have recently been told about a v2 and look forward to whenever it come out. It sounds like a great program is about to come even greater. Hi nwg ! It really will be worth the wait.........
Defenestration Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 I know you can't rush perfection, but I'm hoping it will be released soon because I've got a load of burns that I've put off doing in the hope I can use them to test the new version. Unfortunately, I can't really wait much longer to do them.... I have everything crossed in the hope my wish will come true
lfcrule1972 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 Why not burn a few of the urgent ones and save some back ? That's what I do with the beta tests.....
Defenestration Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 (edited) I'm holding off to see if tonight brings any riches, then I'll do as you say lfc and only burn the important ones. Edited July 24, 2006 by Defenestration
dirio49 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 LOL. I am doing the same holding off burning till the new version.
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 lol it's like you're all expecting it to be a totally different program.... it looks exactly the same but with the addition of a 'Build' mode!
the olde Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 (edited) lol it's like you're all expecting it to be a totally different program.... it looks exactly the same but with the addition of a 'Build' mode! can't we all have flashing lights on it?!!! please please why change the basics when the structure is so good? Defenestration Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 (edited) How about the go faster stripes with Nitrous Oxide sub-system for those occasions when an extra boost is needed I'd also like it to print "Hello World", although with the work involved maybe this is one for v3 Edited July 24, 2006 by Defenestration

A_T Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 lol it's like you're all expecting it to be a totally different program.... it looks exactly the same but with the addition of a 'Build' mode! That's good . I love the ImgBurn interface - like I loved the one for DVDD. Would not like to see it radically changed - it's so reserved - almost British in nature.
Wheelie4 Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 it looks exactly the same but with the addition of a 'Build' mode! I think that's what makes this the most anticipated and exciting release, atleast for me.
blutach Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 @Defenestration - you may care to buy a bigger drive!!! Regards
Groundrush Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Woohooo, just got back from my little jaunt to the Caribbean only to find v2 has yet to be released. I'm rather relieved that all but the beta testers haven't had a head start on me in finding out what new goodies await within ImgBurn v2
LIGHTNING UK! Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Ah phew, you're back. I'll release it now then
Groundrush Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 (edited) I'm honored but If I'd have known you were going to wait for me to return I would have cancelled my trip, although I don't think the missus would have approved.... =)) Edited July 25, 2006 by Groundrush

Groundrush Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Did you have a good holiday?Welcome back. Thanks Ken we both had good time apart from getting a stinking cold. Not what you expect when you spend 10 days in 30+ degrees....
Movie Junkie Posted July 25, 2006 Posted July 25, 2006 Ah phew, you're back. I'll release it now then I knew it!
wild77 Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 I will be waiting for the next release of ImgBurn, as it is the best burning program I have found! DVD Rebuilder which I use for most of my DVD work has the option to create a ISO file and then burn with ImgBurn. This combination in my opinion can not be beat. I paid for Nero and have been let down by the (BUGS!) LIGHTNING UK! and JDobbs will always have my support as well as the makers of PgcEdit, VoBlanker and the many other Freeware utilities. I would be the first to purchase any software from LUK as he has proven himself. Thanks and good luck to LUK!
blutach Posted July 27, 2006 Posted July 27, 2006 @LUK! You gotta stop paying these folks off!!! :D =)) Regards
