dinordi Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Drive: MATSHITA DVD-RAM UJ880ES 1.90 Device: RITEK-F16-01 I fell in love with this program the first time I used it! Unfortunately that was the only time it worked for me. Ever since then, my burner always freezes when writing my DVDs. I have gotten all the way to 98% before it stops. No error codes and I have tried speeds of 2x 4x 6x and 8x with no luck. When I say my burner freezes I mean it spins forever producing coaster after coaster. Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated. I 16:23:58 ImgBurn Version 2.4.4.0 started! ianymaty Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Try cleaning the lens with a cleaning disc or manual if you know how to do it. Matshita are famos for their bad burners, so try with high quality discs from Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden. You are using an outdated ImgBurn, update to latest version, see my sig. Also update Vista to SP2 if you don't have a valid reason to stuck at SP1
