Hi, sorry if this is a common question I did search and read guides but all mention having the original WinXP disk which I don't.

I need to run a repair install on a computer (running windows XP Pro SP3) I have lost the original disk but had copied them to my hard drive to make a slipstreamed version so I have all the files I'm just having a problem making the disk bootable. All the guides I've seen assume you have the disk which is where I'm having problems. I've made the disk and it works in windows but I can't boot from it.

I've tried getting the boot image from the files saved on the hard drive but it says "You can't save the boot image file to the same place you're trying to read!"

I found some WindowsXP pro boot disks online but they're split out for floppies and imgburn doesn't recognise them. To be honest I don't know what I'm looking for so haven't a hope of finding it so I'm turning to the experts where can I get this file?
