-----------------------------------------------

I have tried several times with different types of DVDs, but nothing really helped.

So i thought: perhaps it's time to try something else, so I used VSO ConvertXToDVD, and nothing changed. Afterwards I installed CLONE DVD, and the result was the same. I even tried with nero and with the windows 7 application and still nothing changed. I get always the same error, 'unable to erase disc'.

I got this laptop in September and this was my first attempt at trying to erase&burn a rw dvd.

What could it be?

Thanks in advance for any responses,

Thank you Lightning, I will try that. I'm however very curious to know what the issue could be.

The only think I can think of is that the dvd burner is not compatible with those type of dvds.. Other than that, i don't know. I'm totally out of clues, never been in such a situation.

What do you think the problem is?
