johnyb Posted December 16, 2010 Share Posted December 16, 2010 Just bought and installed LG BH10LS30 however get error messages when writing to DVD-R. Originaly it was attached to to a VIA VT6421 RAID controller card since no onboard SATA ports available, so moved it to internal controller and still same issue. I can use the free software that came with the drive (Power2go)which works fine and tried updating the firmware (but is up to date). So sent for replacement, now replacement drive has same problem. I also tried removing the VIA controller card, no change. Tried connecting externally via a SATA to USB still same prob... Help would be appreciated since dont want to use anything except Imgburn.. Try with all the available speeds. In the log your drive is shown as (F:) (ATA) but your screen shows (G:) (RAID) Is your drive connected to a RAID controller port? Move it to a regular port. The writing speed was the problem ! I was under the impression the application would only allow you to select those available from the drive.. my mistake Thanks.
