Davidx510 Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 I'm trying to burn this file into my CD but every time i put in blank cd it keeps saying "Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present)." and its getting annoying. my Log: I 12:38:37 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! I 12:38:37 -> Drive 1 - Info: HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GWA4164B E113 (E:) (ATA) I 12:38:37 -> Drive 2 - Info: SONY DVD-ROM DDU1615 FDS2 (D:) (ATA) I 12:38:37 Found 1 DVD-ROM and 1 DVD±RW! could someone help me so it dont say "Device Not Ready (Medium Not Present)." LIGHTNING UK! Posted December 24, 2010 Share Posted December 24, 2010 This is nothing to do with ImgBurn, you must just be using discs your drive doesn't support. I assume you are putting the blank CD in the LG drive and not the Sony? Your Sony is only a reader. Update ImgBurn too, yours is out of date. You have 2 drives yeah... One can burn CDs and DVDs, the other can only read them. 'Drive 1' (made by LG) can burn discs, 'Drive 2' (made by Sony) can only read discs.
