donfrank Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 I am getting this message when I launch Imgburn. Dowloaded most recent version 2.5.4. Tried a complete uninstall and reinstall. Still getting message. Runing Windows 7 Thanks

LIGHTNING UK! Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 You didn't answer my question but never mind! Try and run the program in safe mode. It could be due to whatever antivirus / malware type program you're running. Some don't play nicely with the UPX compression used on ImgBurn's exe.
alamal Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 I've confirmed that the above error was indeed caused by my Kaspersky Internet Security 2010. ImgBurn was working prior but it must have been a Kaspersky update that made it give that error. I simply added ImgBurn to the Exclusion list and it fires right up. I post this as I could not respond to a post issued by another user.
