Hi,

 

I need some help, I was trying to make a backup from a .dvd file, I haven't had any errors with imgburn up til now but I had an I/O error at around 85%.

1 bad disc? Ignore it and try a new one.

 

Stuff like this (bad quality burn) is down to your drive, the software has nothing to do with it.

Is there a particular drive you could recommend.

BenQ stopped making their own drives years ago. Anything since then has just been a rebranded something else.

 

Back in the day, they were the ones to buy.

 

Times change and things move on though.

 

If you want a new drive (i.e. if all your discs are failing to burn), take a look at the reviews on MyCE (and in the MyCE forums).
