shk17 Posted January 11, 2011 Share Posted January 11, 2011 I am using imgburn 2.5.4.0 i want to know how to create a bootable dvd from a file? i don't know what settings need to be done under advance----> bootable disc tab and i dont know what boot image information to be filled under the extract boot image tab .and under iso 9660 there are some different level i have no idea what level we need to choose i order to create a bootable dvd Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

shk17 Posted January 11, 2011 Author Share Posted January 11, 2011 the current os running in my system is win xp . i have the win 7 set up files in the folder . tried even with power iso 4.7 still no luck when i add the files and folder of the win 7 os at the bottom it displays the message as non bootable image . what files need to be add under Add Boot Information to make win 7 bootable dvd using the power iso version 4.7 i have created iso file using the power iso 4.7 from the folder but when i tried to burn the iso at the left bottom of the power iso i saw the message as non bootable image . i guess i am missing the one step that is adding the boot information . i just want to know what files need to be add under Add Boot Information from the win 7 set folder to make win 7 bootable dvd using the power iso version 4.7 . please help me Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ianymaty Posted January 11, 2011 Share Posted January 11, 2011 You are skipping this from the Guide for Windows Vista/7: Point the 'Boot Image' to the 'etfsboot.com' file within the 'boot' folder in your source folder - i.e. "T:\VISTA_INSTALL\boot\etfsboot.com" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
