galloitaliano Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 (edited) Hey everyone, I was wondering if you guys could help me with a little issue I'm having right now. So, I've been backing up my DVDs lately and yesterday I bought a pack of 10 Sony DVD+DL and burned my first DVD9, but as I was watching the movie I noticed that it suddenly paused, which is O.K with me. But today I noticed there is this option called "Seamless" (see picture): After I click the box, this message appears: My question is, I do I know if my PS3 "does not need the layer break cell to be marked as non-seamless"? Is it safe to enable the Seamless option? Any help with this query will be much appreciated. Edited January 14, 2011 by galloitaliano
Cynthia Posted January 14, 2011 Posted January 14, 2011 That warning is there for very old DVD players that have problems with seamless layer breaks. Why not burn one DVD and watch it while you play it during the shift of layers? If you use the preview function, you should easily know where in the movie it will happen.
galloitaliano Posted January 14, 2011 Author Posted January 14, 2011 Alright I'll try it and see what happens. Thanks for replying, Cynthia. Cheers.
