mmalves Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 Not to mention that you don't have a DVD burner: your drive is just a CD burner and DVD reader, also known as a combo drive.
Nayneedshelp Posted January 15, 2011 Author Posted January 15, 2011 So whats should I get so that I can burn games, movies, and shows?
Rincewind Posted January 15, 2011 Posted January 15, 2011 So whats should I get so that I can burn games, movies, and shows? You need at least a DVD burner that is also capable of burning +R DL (dual layer +R) discs, but at this point you may as well go for a bluray burner that can also burn all forms of DVD recordable formats (- + +R DL), as well as CDs.
Nayneedshelp Posted January 16, 2011 Author Posted January 16, 2011 what is it called so i know what im buying?
spinningwheel Posted January 16, 2011 Posted January 16, 2011 Nayneedshelp, where are you located and exactly what do you want to get? If in the States you can go to www.meritline.com or www.newegg.com or a couple other online stores that have a good reputation. For brick and mortar stores you'll pay more and have a smaller selection but you won't have to wait for the delivery. spinner
